Wissmach Prisma Fusible Glass
Wissmach is known for color mixes, so it is no surprise to find the manufacturer has created a line of kiln-forming mixes called Prisma Glass™. The first part of the color name is the more dominant color of the Prisma Glass. Each Prisma combination can come in a variety of color density, for example WI 96 28 is White with streaks of Midnight Blue; WI 96 29 is Midnight Blue with streaks of White and WI 96 30 is Midnight Blue with streaks of Crystal.
The Paul Wissmach Glass Company was established in 1910. Many of the color batches used by Wissmach at the turn of the century are still used today, and new glasses are continually added. Recent additions to Wissmach include Wissmach 90, a fusible sheet glass in a variety of colors. Wissmach also produces 96 coe fusible glass sheets and 96 coe frit.
Wissmach produces a variety of colors and textures. Known particularly for their English Muffle, Mystic, and Wisspy lines (yes, wisspy, not wispy, as in wiSSmach wiSSpy) They are also known for their dazzling opalescents, cathedrals and streakies.
